Our public schools are more than just places where children learn; they are the bedrock of our society and have the potential to be one of the most influential factors in a community’s well-being and future. The true benefits of education are resounding and enduring when the entire community comes together to support the cause.

The Carbondale Education Foundation was founded on this conviction. We aim to improve the incredible things that are already happening in our schools and give our educators as much assistance as we can. Ultimately, the entire community is responsible for education. Please join us in our efforts to support our schools, teachers, and families for the well-being of our children and so much more.

Exciting Updates from CEF

A Huge Success at Cowboy Up!

We are thrilled to share that the Carbondale Education Foundation was honored to be the non-profit beneficiary of this year's Cowboy Up fundraiser. The event was a resounding success, raising over $25,000 that will go directly towards our teacher grants program. These funds will allow teachers to realize their dreams and wishlists for their classrooms and for their students!

The event was a fantastic evening, with almost 400 attendees enjoying the festivities while also learning more about CEF and our mission to enhance public education in Carbondale. Beyond the funds raised, the awareness and support generated for our cause have been incredible.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Cowboy Up and its Board for selecting us as this year's beneficiary. Your support is helping us make a lasting impact on the educational experiences of students in our community.

Introducing Our Inaugural Teacher Grant Program

We are excited to announce the launch of our inaugural Teacher Grant Program for the 2024-2025 school year! This program is open to all public school educators and administrators in the Carbondale area. Through these grants, we aim to support innovative teaching initiatives that enrich our students' learning experiences and address unmet needs in our schools.

Over $115,000 Raised in our First 8 Months!
