About the event
The Carbondale Education Foundation (CEF) is reviving one of Carbondale’s most cherished community events: Oktoberfest. This year we're adding a twist: aiming to unite the community in honoring and supporting the dedicated teachers and staff in Carbondale public schools. We'll retain classic Oktoberfest fun, including hammerschlagen, a beer stein-holding competition, cornhole, a beer garden and a variety of semi-authentic food offerings. Three live bands will perform throughout the evening. Come out and support Carbondale's public school teachers and students!
